Winter Solstice was already included on the indie album of the band. It is an instrumental song in the tradition of songs by Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, who had a great influence on the songwriting of Jeff Martin at the time. The song is still played live by the band, mostly as an introduction to ‘Sister Awake’.
